Tic-tac-toe is a fun game, that you can use for your educational purposes.
So, how to play the game with your individual students?
First, prepare a set of cards with grammar questions or words for spelling.
Then, draw a big grid (10×10 is perfect, but you can also use 7×7 or 7×10 or any grid).
The goal is to get four crosses or naughts in a row. But here comes a twist!
Ask your student to take a card from the pile. If your student answers the question/spells the word correctly, they can draw their symbol. If the answer is not correct, you draw yours!
So you don’t take turns. Instead, your student goes when he or she gives the right answer and you go if the answer is wrong.
